Chet Willis – Chief Operating Officer

Chet migrated to Arizona from New Jersey and began his career in the window business in 1976. His first experience in the window manufacturing environment entailed operating a chop saw and fabricating aluminum windows and doors. Eventually he transitioned into the installation side of the business and acquired over 10 years of experience with both residential and commercial glazing. His glazing experience aided in his proficiency with bathroom accessories, custom mirrors, auto glass and art glass which led him to become a journeyman glazier. Due to his extensive work and expertise in the glazing aspect of the window industry, he is now the qualifying party for both the residential and commercial glazing licenses for Paramount.

Chet has had experience in all facets of window manufacturing including fabrication, installation and sales, as well as management of operations, installation, distribution, sales and accounting. He sits on the Board of Directors for JAG (Jobs for Arizona Graduates) and coordinates all community support and charitable contributions for Paramount. His current title as Chief Operating Officer of Paramount Windows calls on all of his varied experiences.

Chet currently resides in Glendale, Arizona and has been a Glendale resident for over 19 years. He is actively engaged in activities related to automobile restoration and enjoys participating in automobile racing events in the Southwest.

 

Howard Hiebert – V.P. of Operations

Howard started his career in the Commercial Glass industry in 1987. He spent his first 2 years in the business performing duties such as preparation and fabrication both in-house and in the field, as well as installation and follow-up service work. In late 1989 he transitioned into the Residential Window industry and gained insight and experience in the aspects of manufacturing, distribution, installation and servicing of aluminum windows. His experience spanned tract homes to custom homes and also included light commercial window applications.

In 1991, Howard played a large role in the setup and management of a start-up operation which entailed distribution, installation and servicing of windows in the Residential Window market. In 1994 Howard accepted the position of Production Manager for a major window company, heading up their light manufacturing effort. Very quickly, Howard was promoted to Plant Manager, overseeing all functions related to manufacturing.

In October of 2000, Paramount Windows was born and Howard was brought on board to develop company operations. Since his arrival at Paramount, he has aided in the set up of full manufacturing operations to include automation as well as assisting in the expansion into new segments of the business that include tract, custom homes, high-end Luxury homes, light commercial applications and a Dealer Network.

 

Gregg Cheney, Major Accounts Sales Manager

After relocating to Phoenix from Seattle in 1984, Gregg settled in to the window business making specials (Eyebrow, Octagon and Trapezoid windows, etc.) and working as a Shop/Production Foreman, overseeing all aspects of assembling wood window house packages for delivery to the field. Since his beginnings in the window industry, Gregg has gathered vast fenestration knowledge. He has worked in the field as both an Installer and a Service Technician and in 1991 he transitioned over to an Assistant Sales position, aiding the sales force with take-offs and pricing.

In 1995, Gregg was offered a sales position and he knew that he had found his niche.
He has since been promoted to Sales Manager and is currently the Major Accounts Sales Manager for Paramount. With the help of his assistants, Gregg handles the majority of tract sales for Paramount Windows.

 

Ray Pelland, Director of Plant Services

Ray has participated in nearly every aspect of the window and home building industries. Beginning his career in the window business in 1980, he started out as a production worker, performing aluminum fabrication and assembly. Ray soon worked his way up to management, overseeing the manufacturing of aluminum windows for both multifamily and single family residential units. In 1991, his job brought him to Texas to assist in the set-up of a new plant. He was responsible for plant layout as well as all phases of production and shipping of the product and the training of all personnel.

In 1993, Ray shifted gears in an effort to gain more knowledge of the housing industry. He worked as a Line Manager which included many areas of responsibility, including siding, roofing and interior trim as well as the installation of carpeting, appliances, etc. His duties also included final electrical testing as well as water and structural testing and various other aspects of home inspection.

Ray found his way back to the window industry in 1999 and has been at it ever since. He has held the positions of Distribution Manager, Plant Manager and is presently the Director of Plant Services at Paramount.

 

John Burke, Chief Financial Officer

With 27 years of financial management experience and 21 years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer, John is a great asset to Paramount. He is a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts and has been with Paramount since 2003.

 

Kelvin G. Semper, Luxury Sales Manager

Kelvin began his window career in 1994 as a Project Manager for a small window distributor. Over the next seven years he acquired a Bachelors degree in Business Management, meanwhile working his way up in the company to attain the position of Vice President. In September of 2002, Kelvin was asked to head up the Luxury Sales division at Paramount, which was a perfect fit. “Luxury product lines are my area of expertise”, says Kelvin. With his extensive knowledge and experience, Kelvin designs window and door packages that meet the desires and budgets of all his clients.

Kelvin has been married for 25 years to his college sweetheart and has a 17 year old son. He enjoys sports, particularly basketball, and has spent many years coaching his son’s basketball teams. He is also currently a member of Paramount’s softball team, holding the position of starting first baseman.

 

Frankie D’Esposito, Director of Field Operations

Hired in September 2004 to expand Paramount Windows’ growing custom and luxury window division, Frankie began his career with Paramount as Custom and Luxury Install Manager.  With his expertise and knowledge cultivated at Paramount, Frankie quickly became an asset to the installation department and was soon promoted to Director of Field Operations. Overseeing all aspects of the window installation process, Frankie coordinates and manages Paramount’s window installation crews, service crews and custom/luxury crews. One of Frankie’s many accomplishments as Director of Field Operations was the successful introduction and implementation of a new window flashing product and installation method – adding both quality and value to each and every window Paramount installs.

With close to twenty years experience as a Master Craftsman and Cabinet Maker, including owning and operating a successful cabinet making business, Frankie has brought his attention to detail and high sense of quality workmanship to the window installation department. During his successful career as Cabinet Shop Foreman and Woodworking Production Manger at a high end cabinet making company, Frankie designed and built unique cabinetry and many one-of-a-kind pieces for local celebrities including Artie Moreno, Charles Barkley and Jerry Colangelo.
